SEYMCHAN METEORITE, MAGADAN REGION, RUSSIA. 346,2 GRAMS.

A natural fusion of structure and crystal

This exceptional Seymchan slice represents one of the most fascinating expressions of planetary formation: the coexistence of two distinct internal regions of an ancient differentiated asteroid.

Unlike typical specimens that show either metallic structure or silicate inclusions, this unique slice reveals both worlds simultaneously, a sharply defined Widmanstätten pattern formed during ultra-slow cooling inside the asteroid’s metallic core, alongside a preserved pallasitic zone containing golden olivine crystals from the core mantle boundary.

The result is a natural cross section through asteroid geology. A transition zone frozen in time for over 4.5 billion years, now presented as a single collectible specimen.

This is not a composite or assembled piece. It is one continuous slice, exactly as it formed in space.
