Hello! We are the team behind Stardust Meteorite Jewelry. Our passion lies in hunting for meteorites and creating beautiful jewelry. We are dedicated to bringing you the finest meteorite pieces.
For over 9 years, we have traveled the world in search of meteorites, focusing on unique specimens like the Muonionalusta meteorite. It's a challenge to find, and we spend more than 4 months each year exploring the Arctic Circle's taiga forest. With metal detectors in hand, we carefully search for signals and follow strict regulations to excavate these celestial treasures.
We also work with trusted suppliers from different parts of the world to acquire a diverse selection of meteorites. These reliable sources ensure that we have captivating specimens for our jewelry creations.
Mining meteorites is a meticulous and patient process. These ancient treasures are buried beneath the Earth's surface after enduring glacial ages. We spend countless hours creating holes and carefully retrieving them. Once we have the meteorites, we cleanse and stabilize them in our workshop to ensure their preservation. Then, we slice them into thin sections and prepare them for the etching process. This reveals their natural structures, called Widmanstätten patterns. These unique patterns form as the molten metal within the meteorites cools during their cosmic journey. Each piece has its own one-of-a-kind pattern, like a fingerprint.
We take great pride in our masterpieces, which are the result of our passion for meteorite jewelry. We aim to create captivating pieces that tell the story of these celestial wonders and enrich the lives of those who appreciate their beauty.
